Beans – Black-Eyed / Iron Beans

West African Black-Eyed Beans, also known as Iron Beans in some regions, are a popular variety of versatile, nutrient-packed legumes widely consumed in many West African countries. These small, oval-shaped beans have a distinctive white color with a black spot on each bean, which gives them their name. Known for their mild, earthy flavor, they are a favorite staple in traditional dishes such as stewed beans, porridge  beans and rice with stews.
